- Although this will was of JohnTennison brother to Absolam C. Tennison, John did not name his brother. Ann Pamella sister to both brothers names Absolam in her will some ten years latter:
May 12, 1834 - The St. Mary's Co., Md. will of John Tennison, probated June 5, 1834, leaves to:
--Sister Ann P. Tennison, one sorrel colt and $8 to buy her a side saddle.
--Sister Margaret Tennison, $6 to buy her a dress.
--Father Absalom Tennison, the residue of my estate.
Executor: Thomas K. Biscoe.
Witnesses: James Richardson, George H. Sanders, Frederick Karstings.

May 24, 1844 - The St. Mary's Co., Md. will of Ann P. Tennison, probated Mar. 12, 1845, leaves to:
--brother Absalom C. Tennison, all of my estate both real and personal with the exception of my bed.
--niece Ann E. Milburn, my bed.
--sister Margaret Tennison, $20 which is to be paid to her by my brother.
Executor: brother Absalom C. Tennison.
Witnesses: William M. Hall, John H. Holmes, George N. White.
