Grandfather, Absolam Tennisdon -1770-1774 - The St. Mary's Co., Md. Debt Books of 1770-1774 show that in these years Absolam Tennison is the owner of "Inclosure," containing 62 acres. Comment Ralph D. Smith: Absolam is still a young child at this time. Prior to 1770, "Inclosure" was owned by #2. Absolam Tennison, the grandfather of this Absolam. Young Absolam has succeeded to "Inclosure" through the Dec. 1767 will of his grandfather.
Absolam. In the 1770-1774 Debt Books, Absolam is listed next to his uncle #2b. Justinian Tennison who has succeeded to the remainder of #2. Absolam's lands.
