Willis W. Tennison's will was dated 8 Sept.. 1874 and was probated 9 Feb.1876 Taylor Co., KY. Witness were Andrew Bright and Henry Prescott (sic). Will Bk 1; pp.219-220.
It should be noted here that Willis’ will only named three of his grandchildren: John W. Bowen and Mary Bowen (their mother deceased) and granddaughter Margaret Jane Johnson whose mother Malinda is still living. Malinda Tennison Johnson is a newly found descendant of Willis. Malinda was left with one dollar while the her two children were left with one third of the of the entire estate.
