- Willis had two wife’s. Daughter Malinda is named in Willis’ willl but with with no known birthdate, she was listed as the last child with 2nd wife.
Willis W. Tennison's will was dated 8 Sept.. 1874 and was probated 9 Feb.1876 Taylor Co., KY. Witness were Andrew Bright and Henry Prescott (sic). Will Bk 1; pp.219-220.
It should be noted here that Willis’ will only named three of his grandchildren: John W. Bowen and Mary Bowen (their mother deceased) and granddaughter Margaret Jane Johnson whose mother Malinda is still living. Malinda Tennison Johnson is a newly found descendant of Willis. Malinda was left with one dollar while the her daughter was left with one third of the of the entire estate.
