    • Daniel Pitts divorced his first wife. Celia and the first two sons stayed in Overton Co., TN.
      Daniel Pitts and his 2nd wife moved to Dallas Co. TX in 1875. Evaline Violet Collins Dennis had a brother living Henry Co., MO. Daniel and Evaline moved to Henry County, MO., but returned several times to Texas to be close to relatives. Family lore has been told that Joesph wanted to live in Texas but the Texas climate caused him health problems
      Daniel's son Joseph Allen Dennis met his wife Harriet Hoffman on one of those trips to Texas. Joseph and Harriet married 1898 and moved by wagon to Henry County, Missouri also.
