    • The John Yocum Dennis family moved in 1868 to Saline, Missouri. Son John Austin served in the Union forces during the Civil War. Son David P. Dennis served in the Confederate Army in Tenny MORGAN's cavalry.
      Most of John Yocum's children were buried in Saline Co., MO area. However John Yocum apparently returned back to Bath Co., KY to die and be buried in the Upper Salt Lick Cemetery. The oldest daughter Mary married Levi Igo and stayed in Bath Co., KY.

Pendleton.] A copy of this recording was put in the Bath Co. archives in July 2001. Listed in the recording was the names of John Y. Dennis and his daughter Mary Y.Dennis Igo, with the transcriptions of age at death and death dates.
